Patch 3.3.3 PTR: Random Dungeon Finder changes

The most important change is not in the official notes yet, but a Zarhym post clarified that there will be no cooldown on the vote kick function. Combined with the fact that we'll be able to put a reason for the vote kick in the interface itself instead of having to whisper everyone, I think the classes that queue as tanks for the quick queue and then make it clear that they can't tank will find themselves doing less dungeons a day now.
The other exceptionally nice part of these changes is that we won't need to scrub around in general or trade looking for a holiday boss group, and won't have to travel either.
The full list from the patch notes after the break.
Official Patch 3.3.3 PTR Notes- The Deserter debuff given to players who leave a dungeon prematurely when queuing via the Random Dungeon option has been increased to 30 minutes, up from 15 minutes. The cooldown for using the Random Dungeon option remains 15 minutes.
- The Random Dungeon cooldown is no longer displayed as a debuff. Instead, players will see the cooldown time remaining displayed in the Dungeon Finder window when Random Dungeon or Random Heroic Dungeon is selected from the pull-down.
- If a player in your party has the Deserter debuff, or is on cooldown from the Random Dungeon option, his or her character name will be displayed in the Dungeon Finder window listed as "On Cooldown," preventing the group from queuing.
- Anyone in a dungeon party can now re-queue their group for a dungeon, as players will still be prompted whether or not to accept their chosen role.
- Players who use the Vote Kick option will now be prompted to provide a reason for kicking a party member. This reason will be presented to everyone in the party except for the person voted to be kicked.
- When joining as a group, more generous level requirements will be used instead of Random Dungeon level requirements so that players of different levels joining together will be eligible for a greater number of dungeons.
- World Event bosses (such as Ahune for the Fire Festival) will now be accessible through the Dungeon Finder. Players must use the Dungeon Finder to access these bosses.
- Parties randomly created via the Dungeon Finder will always be arranged in the party interface from top to bottom in the following order: tank, healer, damage, damage, damage.
- If a random party is created via the Dungeon Finder and a player cannot roll Need on an item, a reason will now be provided.

It's the death from a great height that makes it so off-putting. Or the death on a platform caused by trash dragons you can't fight because you just dismounted. Or the getting lost and unintentionally pulling a train of trash dragons to your teammates, who just dismounted on a platform. Or the idiotically difficult fight at the end because the tank ordered you to use a dragon you've never tried before because he needs the frickin' achievement, dammit, and you have no idea what you're doing.
And I'm sure there's other things I've left out...oh yeah, the constant mounting and dismounting, too. That also sucks.

Oh, and wowwiki tells me that Malygos resides in a raid called "Eye of Eternity", which I can't comment on at all because there still isn't a Looking For Raid tool yet. Until then, us non-raiding-guild casuals just have to stand there with our thumbs out and hope that someone will let us in, which, due to the twin curses of GS and Recount, doesn't happen all that much.

I have never and will never vote kick a DPS that is under performing. I might boggle a little at just how that Rogue is sitting at half the tank's DPS, but low DPS will never wipe a group in a heroic because they are just so under tuned. Poor healing, bad tanking or people not knowing strats might, but never low DPS.
My main is a hunter in 4/5 T10 with basically every piece of gear she needs out of normal ICC 25. Not to brag about her DPS, but she could basically make up for the DPS of 3 newly minted 80's.
I have no problem carrying low DPS through a heroic if they're courteous and don't do stupid things like face pull trash ahead of the tank.
My real life partner, however, plays a warlock and uses a pretty bad computer. He sits at low FPS and has a tiny monitor, and is a very casual player so doesn't really know his class all that well. I'm always annoyed when he gets vote kicked for his low DPS, because it's not like we're not going to clear the instance - my DPS is more than enough to make it through comfortably. If he gets vote kicked, I'll generally leave too.
This DPS snobbery with heroics is just pointless and very elitist. If you're able to clear the heroic just fine, why vote kick people? It's a communal game, just like real life, not everyone is going to be as good as you at certain things.

Well I am worried that the 30 minute debuff will make many people to simply going afk at the start of the instance waiting to be kicked which equals to no CD (my guess is that the reason choice is being added to counter that, we'll see)

It happens usually in HOL, I've no idea why this keeps happening. Perhaps because you can't skip much of it.
The DPS keeps pulling. Perhaps I stop to ask why an elemental shaman is not putting totems down, especially a totem of wrath, and it might explain why they have 1300dps.
Often I don't and I'm tanking as fast as I can. Perhaps I've missed 4 seconds somewhere to get faster.
Some DPS, usually a DK, sometimes a warlock, with crap dps, says I'm not going fast enough. Shouting GOGOGO. They invenitably have 1100 dps and yet still manage to pull aggro from me before. So they start pulling. I've seen that warlock pull all the 11 odd mobs which fear at the statue bit. I've seen DK's basically start to tank the instance, yet not really, just tank through dps, which usually means they get aggro from one mob and the rest go to the healer.
And yet its because I've not tanked fast enough. Previously I would have stopped, and if they keep doing it, I'd leave. Now, I know I'm letting people down but I've had this a lot and have no tolerance for it. The Puller either continues or starts insulting.
Hopefully the lack of cooldown to vote to kick will now let us kick him, the tank being a bit more valuable than a dps. I do wonder if I get rated badly for the times the dps thinks that they can squeeze another 1/4 of a second out of that pull...
I suppose its the uber ICC lot outgearing the dungeons and acting like asses, however, thats being unkind to the uber players because not all uber gear makes them act like an uber retard...

My only problem with the deserter buff is when the dang system screws up and you don't really have a choice but to leave. I got pulled into an HoR last week where they had apparently tried and failed the first boss which is no big deal. Except that for some reason I couldn't see any of the people in my group! I think it was a problem with phasing, as they showed up on the minimap for about 1s when I first went into the instance before disappearing. The choice was to hope that the phasing magically fixed itself in the middle of the fight, or to leave.
I guess now I could politely ask for a group kick and hope the debuff was less than 30 mins that way. On the other hand, this kind of thing has only happened a few times so 90% of the time it goes smoothly.

I wonder how hard it would be for Blizz to add another feature to the Dungeon Finder - Achievement / Rep run.
I certainly understand that there are people who want high gear score / high DPS groups so they can plow through the dungeon as fast as possible. More power to them, but it is not my style.
We would all be happier if we aren't grouped together!
