I personally just use custom MSBT triggers with custom sounds for Flame Shock and Stormstrike debuffs dropping off my target, Maelstrom stacking to 5, Elemental shields and weapon imbues being down and Fire Nova becoming available.

Sound effects alone, once you take the time to train yourself to tune in to each one, are all you will ever need, and will significantly improve your reaction speed with regards to utilising your priority list correctly.
