Breakfast Topic: Did you accomplish your Love is in the Air goals?

What about you? Are you still going for the Violet Proto-Drake? Did you get a Big Love Rocket Mount? What were your goals for Love is in the Air and did you get them accomplished?
Also, did you like the changes to the quests and achievements this year? My favorite change was the Goblin Detective quest chain. Goblin running FTW! What was your favorite part of the new event?

I wanted to get all the achievements, including the lucky black dress one. Had to open 8 boxes for that one, but managed to get them all yesterday. =)

I got the meta, which was all I was going for. I don't care for rare mounts, so I only ran the boss once.
Though I didn't participate in the holiday last year, considering what I have heard about it, I'm happy with the changes they made to the holiday. Less RNG is always a good thing in my book.

Same. I didn't even bother on running the boss. I feel kinda uneasy because I'm a completionist and it was the only achievement I missed. But i got the mera, so it's not a big deal.

Got them all done for my main last year, so I decided to finish the "What a Long Strange trip it's Been" on my alts, getting 9 alts done with this was stressful, thankfully Elders gives more time.

In the same boat for you for the remaining holiday achievements..heh. Despite getting the Love Fool title, I sadly did not get my darn fumigator's mask..-_- Never even saw the thing drop once the entire time. So, that was my only complaint. Otherwise I do like the changes they did to the questlines and whatnot so Kudos to Blizzard on that.

I saw the mask drop ONCE....and someone rolled disenchant on it, and of course they won...grrrrr. I don't CARE that you're a warrior and don't want a cloth mask, the rest of us wanted it! But, we didn't discuss what to do if it dropped prior to it dropping, and they rolled DE after the rest of us did Greed.....sigh. Hopefully next year.

Same here with the alt. I figured I didn't punish myself enough last year grinding all this crap out on the main so I might as well do it all over again. Maybe a horribly ugly purple protodrake will finally be enough of a reason for me to stop being cheap and buy my alt epic flying.
I can already see Easter on the horizon. /shudder

I'm not sure I actually finished any of the achievements but when I went to Orgrimmar I was VERY confused by the sudden appearance of player goblins.

Goals:
1) Get meta - Achieved!
2) Get pet - Achieved!
3) Get mount - Not yet unlocked.
So, there you have it. I finally got my violet proto-drake, thanks to the Lunar Festival, but I'm sorely disappointed in the drop rate of the holiday mounts. I know Blizzard keeps them rare for a reason, but in my entire time playing I've seen ONE mount drop ONCE.
As a side note, did anyone have trouble even finding people to tackle the holiday boss? Brewfest was wickedly popular on Proudmoore, but the Crown Apothecaries were largely unmolested. I can't understand why no one wanted to tackle them!

Why do a boss that you have almost no chance at getting the mount from? I did the boss every day and never once saw it drop or even hear of it drop on my server.
In my opinion holiday mounts should be purchased with that holiday's currency.
