It's blue, like the one the gnome is standing on. That's pretty much it. A better shot of the carpet is here:

1. Take the value out of the tailor's cooldowns, removing a source of profit.
2. Add a new tailor-crafted mount to the game.
3. Make the mount BoE.
4. Profit!

waitaminnit -- the HUGE news i see here is that the new carpet appears to SCALE to your character's size.
