Fablesim's Wish upon a Gnome 2 is the second episode of Wish Upon a Gnome, the first was originally released back in August 2008. This second episode comes in two parts (thanks to YouTube's restrictions) and is overall a decent yarn to watch during a short break. After all, who doesn't want to see a gnome traveling around Azeroth, meet his rather man-ish mother, and then face off against The Ashbringer.
The animation is good enough, and I think the voice acting is on par with what we expect with most WoW movies. My primary criticism of the machinima revolves around the rather disconnected feel of the plot however. There is certainly an overall story that Fablesim is going for, but all the one-liner jokes that string it together don't necessary let the story flow as it could. It tries to be Family Guy, but it's not. However that said, there's still some pretty good parts; I especially liked the rock band lead by the lock.

Oh wow, that was brilliant! A great example of why story-based machinima is greater than music videos. :D The voice acting was fantastic and convincing (particularly the death knight at the end, the gnomes, and DEFINITELY the undead at the start), however some of the voices were less (the dwarf at the start and the genie).
I'm glad this -isn't- like Family Guy. Family Guy's style of humour is too focused on pop-culture references and random gags that have little or no relevance to plot. There were a few of these moments, but I'm glad there weren't enough to warrant this as Family Guy in WoW.

I agree, that was probably the funniest part in there. This one didn't really appeal to me, but the animation was very well done.

This has been one of the goodest (yes, i said it) machinies I have seen.

I had to fight laughing my head off at work. THAT was so full of little comedy gems that I don't know where to start.
The nod to the Onyxia wipe was perfect. ;) C'Thun beach ball - LOL!!!
Anyway. I'm surprised I didn't see the first installment!
