Patch 3.3.3 PTR: New battleground mark conversion

Check out the latest from the PTR -- battleground mark to honor conversion is now up, with each battleground mark you've squirreled away worth an astonishing two thousand honor per mark. For people that have been PvPing since vanilla, that adds up to a lot of honor. Thankfully, there's places to spend it.

Check the gallery below for a full list of new prices on PvP mounts and legacy PvP gear. As of the current PTR build the new Commendations of Service are not account-bound, which means you can't send them off to alts like their Wintergrasp counterparts -- meaning players may be swimming in gems when the patch finally goes live. If this changes, we'll let you know. Stay tuned for more 3.3.3 PTR info as it develops!

I imagine this vendor will be around for quite some time, so it's probably easier just to keep the BG marks until you're ready to turn them in. The marks don't take inventory slots and will sit in your currency tab, safe and sound, until you need them.

The current PTR build makes the commendations Unique(10), which means you are not allowed to have more than 10.

2k per mark. The previous cost of the war mounts was 90 marks (30 of the 3 BGs), or an equivalence under the new system of 180k honor. In the new system, the mounts are selling for 50k honor.

I feel like I just burned a giant pile of honor buying my new mount.

Just went on the PTR and it seemed to give me 185 honor instead of the said 2000. My guess is that it is the toolip of commendation of bravery ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45706 ). I wouldn't get your hopes up of getting tonnes of honor for very little marks.

It gave you 185? Are you sure? When I used one it gave me 1850. I even went out to Wintergrasp and got one of those Commendations to see if they had changed the amount of honor that those give, but it was still 2000 for one of those.

Fairly sure it gave me 185, it makes more sense than 1850 anyway. 5 and a half thousand honor for winning a BG is insane, while five hundred seems fairly reasonable. It also could be different because I'm on the EU realms. Who knows? :)

Any news on the other items purchasable with marks? eg Stormpike Battle Charger or the Stormpike Battle Tabard

Will it still be the same honor per mark return no matter of levels?
If not, this would be a great time to start that alt youve always wanted, and get a lot of honour for his level in a short space of time, by getting marks before the patch goes live.

Well, not that there are that many low level bg's now the dungeon finder is out, but still...

ptr.wowhead.com shows that the Stormpike Battle Charger will cost 50,000 honor also. Every other Stormpike/ Frostwolf item costs 5,000 honor, except the Battle Standard and Tabard, which will cost 15,000 each.

Arathi Basin items are 15,000 for the 2h weapon (Ironbark Staff for Alliance), 9,000 for epic shoulders and 1h weapon, 3,000 for the epic cloak. Level 58 items cost 3,000 honor.

In WSG, for some reason the tabard hasn't been updated, but I expect it will cost 15,000 honor. Epic elgs cost 9,000, epic bracers 5,000. The level 58 blue weapons (bow, sword, dagger) cost 6,000, and the level 58 rings, neck and cape cost 1,600.
