Olympics? Pft.
This is clearly a tea-partyesque protest over the lack of a moose companion.

I can see that you're using words, but do you know what they mean? I fail to see correlation you're supposing between a protest in defiance of a monarchy for a states right to self-govern and Blizzard stating two years ago their, at the time, intentions to have something in-game corresponding to the Olympics every two years.

He's not talking about American revolutionary protesters dumping tea into the bay as a form of protest. He's talking about the current group of crazy people in the US who hold "tea party" rallies to protest things they don't understand but they are really, really angry about.

@CM,
I stand corrected. Also, that is just sad. I pity you intelligent Americans having to deal with that.

This is not a political forum, but there are extremes on both sides and failing to realize that makes you just as "crazy."
Not all tea-party goers are extremists, that's just what you will see most covered by the overwhelmingly liberal media.
The simple point of the current tea-party movement is to protest the "big government" ideal we are currently experiencing. Liberals/Democrats think that government intervention is the way to fix the economy and other problems, whereas Conservatives/Republicans believe more in localized power to the states and the free market's ability to regulate itself.
"He's talking about the current group of crazy people in the US who hold "tea party" rallies to protest things they don't understand but they are really, really angry about."
If you are going to attack a group of people you should have a more clear understanding of their viewpoint than "things."

Or, maybe you can expand on this topic and give specific examples of what kinds of things upset tea-partyers instead of "STOP MAKING FUN OF US FOR HAVING AN OPINION YOU DONT UNDERSTAND!" The reason democrats like me dont understand is because, frankly, you guys wont tell us. Bipartisanship is key in trying to solve problems. Cooperation?

I am a conservative republican, not extremist. I agree more with republican ideals because I believe a nation's power should resonate with its people, not corrupt politicians. Most tea-party goers don't like that the current administration has spent trillions of dollars, and still things aren't any better. Also, the healthcare thing - the way to fix that problem is by allowing insurance companies to compete across state lines. Currently they cannot and thereby there is not enough competition within a state to drive prices down. The democrats believe that the government should essentially also compete within this market, but republicans don't believe that the government should act as an insurance company. It is not the government's responsibility to control, it is to govern and nurture growth and prosperity.
Really sorry to everyone trying to actually read about WoW on a WoW blog (imagine?)
I just can't let things pass that I disagree with lol.

I think we need less bipartisanship. The more time the Democrats and Republicans spend fighting, the less time they have to actually do anything. :P
