Actually, there is cap on emblems. 2^31 - 1 = 2147483647 emblems of given kind.

I highly doubt any player has ever gotten that many emblems.

I highly doubt anyone COULD have gotten that many. Even assuming they ran every TBC heroic every day since BoJs were introduced, there's just no way.

Does anybody have a reason why anyone would even want to have that many emblems? I mean, at the very least you could be turning them in for Epic Gems to make gold.
