Around Azeroth: Botanical violence
Hey, buddy. Can you spare any change? Just a couple gold, for repairs and stuff. I promise I won't blow it all at the auction house like last time. What did you say? "Get a job?" Oh, that's it. I spend seven years risking my life to heal lazy DPSers in the Horde army, and this is the thanks I get from society? Well, now I'm mugging your ass. That's right. Hand all your gold over, or I'm going to strangle you with my kudzu. (Thanks to Cowsaysmoo of Shattered Hand for this screenshot!)
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

This picture is classic... great pose!
I can't believe no one commented on it...
Dreamstorm Mar 2nd 2010 10:11AM
It was posted several minutes ago.

Notice the part where my comment is dated almost 10 hours before the post is dated.... I didn't notice that it was dated for later until after I initially commented.
It's position several dozen photos back in the Around Azeroth gallery made it appear like it was at least a few months ago. I didn't notice the actual date on the post being "in the future" until I'd actually commented.
At the time of my comment, this post wasn't showing up in the main feed of the page. It had apparently been posted and set to start displaying at the preset time, I just accidentally stumbled on it via the gallery.

@.@ okay I found this pic way back in the Around Azeroth gallery... I just noticed it's dated... tomorrow... at 10:00am...
OMG I'M SEEING THE FUTURE.

Wow.com is situated in North America.
There's something called a 'difference in time zones'...
>.

@Dreamstorm
It's not so much a difference in time zones, but that Around Azeroth loads into the gallery before they post it on the main site. I've had it multiple times where checking WoW.com late night/early morning I'll see the new Around Azeroth on the side bar even though it hasn't updated yet in the blog.
It's just updated automatically, and confusing multitudes of users into thinking they're internet time travelers (I was severely disappointed when I realized I wasn't.)

I'm just glad we got something other than each class writer saying the same stats are disappearing/changing.
But one of my talents increases said stat, why whatever will happen to it! Please advise.
Tree mugging, heh - thorns? (now to go google a kudzu)
Tomatketchup Mar 2nd 2010 11:39AM
I agree. Please WoW. We get the changes, I'm sure that most of us can figure out what stats we are gonna use for our classes by this point.

Kudzu, Pueraria lobata (and possibly other species in the genus Pueraria) is a plant in the genus Pueraria in the pea family Fabaceae, subfamily Faboideae. It is a climbing, coiling, and trailing vine native to southern Japan and southeast China. Its name comes from the Japanese name for the plant, クズ or 葛.

Back in the 50's the US Government brought over some Kudzu to use as ground cover in the South. Problem is, it grows better here than in Japan. It took over, and is now classified as a weed here. It can take over an entire area, and grow insane in how much it takes over.

My tree form always looks really pissed off when I'm healing.

Are you hinting my apples aren't what they ought to be?
