I refuse to read anything written by Knaack. He's the adjective valedictorian, and that greatly detracts from his stories. I am a fan of fluffy, formulaic, franchise fiction as a whole (I love me some Star Wars and Dragonlance novels, too), but Knaack...well, he's the bottom of the barrel. There are so many other authors who can do what he does and better, so why do these publishers keep returning to him? Because he knows the landscape and the universe? Well so do a lot of people!
