It still astounds me that people get worked up about this now, nearly twenty raid instances into the game. (then again, people still get panicked over Tuesday maintenance so maybe it shouldn't surprise me)
Blizzard has always.always.always nerfed raid content at some point soon after its release. Whether it's because they would rather start with things overtuned and nerf it down rather than too easy and buff it, or because they find bugs, or because things end up being a roadblock that weren't intended, or because the hardcore guilds have made it through and now they want to make it accessible... it has happened with EVERY raid instance ever released.
All of them.
It's time to stop getting hysterical when it happens. There are no greater philosophical implications; it's just the normal protocol for raid dungeons.
