''We have close to 100% uptime of Steady Shot across all specs...''Aside from the obvious typo (should be Serpent Sting), I disagree with the statement itself. Since Serpent Sting is a bit down in the priority list for MM and SV, it won't have quite a 100% uptime. Especially when you get an LnL proc or you hit Kill Shot range, you might have to wait with reapplying SS in favor of harder hitting shots.

Good point, but for MM it is always up. We put it up once and then Chimera shot keeps it up the whole time.

As a rule MM Hunters will find Serpent sting being refreshed with every Chimera Shot, so unless you are target switching a lot, moving out of range etc then you should have close to 100% uptime on Serpent Sting. Obviously BM and SV don't get the refresh with Chimera, so their uptime will be a little lower as SrS isn't high on the priority list (as you note) but its uptime should still, theoretically, be very high.

Shows how much I go MM, completely forgot about Chimera Shot./D'ohAt least for SV my point still stands, I originally left out BM because I have no clue what the priority on Serpent Sting is for them.

You want to have serpent sting up as much as possible if you have Noxious Stings Rank 3If Wyvern Sting is dispelled, the dispeller is also afflicted by Wyvern Sting lasting 50% of the duration remaining, -and increases all damage done by you on targets afflicted by your Serpent Sting by 3%.-So you want serpent sting up, unless you really do not like 3% extra damage. I mean it is your choice.
