circle - sap
Star - shackle
Moon - sheep
diamond - banish
square - trap

Now if tab targeting only worked.

Ah. I remember those days fondly. So many demons and elementals to banish back in the day.

However, even back then, while the jobs you listed were very common, there were always a couple of groups people could pug into that had different symbols for different jobs for their own reasons.

I'd say the safest thing to do is to have a short explanation of raid symbols before using them at the beginning of a dungeon. Just to make sure everyone's on the same page.
