Goon Squad aren't the foremost trolls and griefers in the MMO market; their cousins, the GoonSwarm alliance of EVE Online, takes the cake for that (if for no other reason than they can get away with more there).

I was just going to ask, any connection between those two groups? It seems unlikely, but maybe this would be how they cool off between galactic mining moratoriums, disbanding dominant rival alliances, chasing down runaway megaships, and learning to count to 109.

Either way, these guys certainly have in common being much more enjoyable at a distance, I suspect.

They both spawn from the bowels of the Something Awful fora, and are (or rather, were) possessed of identical drives, so yeah. They are related.
