Mounts and pets
But first, check out Lil' XT! Doesn't your Lil' KT want a lil' company? No idea where this lil' guy will come from as of yet, but it could be a future purchasable pet joining the likes of the Pandaren Monk and Lil' KT!
Both the Celestial Steed and X-53 Touring Rocket (screenshot) now have their own spells and have 310% flying speed.
Icecrown Citadel
There's been some issues with absorption effects like Power Word: Shield not benefiting from the raid buffs that Wrynn and Hellscream provide. That will be addressed shortly with patch 3.3.3.
- Strength of Wrynn and Hellscream's Warsong now also boost the effect of damage absorption spells.
These changes could be temporary and could be reversed at any time. They're not in the official notes.
Death Knights
- Glyph of Icebound Fortitude now always grants at least 40% damage reduction.
- Glyph of Scourge Imprisonment now reduces the cast time of your Shackle Undead by 1 sec. (Up from 0.5 sec)
- Glyph of Feint now reduces the energy cost of Feint by 20. (Up from 10)
- Glyph of Expose Armor now increases the duration of Expose Armor by 12 sec. (Up from 10 sec)
- Glyph of Deadly Throw now increases the slowing effect on Deadly Throw by 20%. (Up from 10%)
Other changes
Warlocks
- Dark Pact now has a 100 yards range (up from 30 yards) and ignores the line of sight.

Yeah, I'm glad to see this was just an oversight. At 5% it isn't a huge deal (I don't feel cheated too much =P), but as the buff ramps up, it would have gotten significantly worse for disc priests.
I'm curious if this will have any effect on bear druid Savage Defense procs as well...

Looks like Dawn Moore can rest easy. Curious, i wonder if her recent article had any effect on the change of the buff.

Doubtful. It's been all over the Priest forums and Technical Bug forums since the buff came out. Blizzard was well aware of the concerns.

Leaving pets without the buffs is a huge cripple to classes like Hunters and Warlocks who rely on them for a good portion of their damage.
I'd just like to know if this was intentional or if they're still looking into it.

@Kanuris yes it is, but for those of us struggling, it is the little things that help us. Some people dont have 20 hours a week to devote to raiding and grinding out gear

I agree with Kanuris. All these Entitled Casuals want is shit like that given to them, when it's been done without ANY buffs like that.
Maybe if your ECs put forward some EFFORT, you'd be able to do it with no probably. You don't need buffs, your pets don't need buffs, but you DO need to stop being an Entitled Causal. Deal with it, and don't complain when you DO get a buff.
"Oh, the people get buffs, but that isn't enough. What about the pets? If you're going to buff the people that don't deserve it, then buff our pets, too." - All you Entitled Casuals.
You people don't deserve that buff. In my opinion, it should ONLY be available when you kill the Lich King. Then you don't have a choice and you can't fucking whine about it.

SheldonLock - the point isn't that people "need" the buffs, it is that leaving pets out affects the classes differently - it leaves pet-using classes behind. More to the point though, you've got a huge, ugly chip on your shoulder about what you call "entitled casuals" when it appears that you're the one with an inflated sense of entitlement. You tell people to "stop fucking whining" even as you whine in an epic fashion. Perhaps a few moments to examine your own post and see if you can spot the hypocrisy?

best option for me? Huge expensive gold sink 2 person flying mount. I've been stashing gold for "the airship that's gonna be in cataclysm" just on speculation and hoping! (the quote is just what I say, no reason to believe it other than I hope it is true)

@Teliko a 5 person mount, maybe XD. Seriously though the mount looks quite Goblin-esque. I wouldn't be surprised if this coincided with the expansion.

I wouldn't be surprised if both of the mounts were related to the card-game or some insane achievement. 310% mounts are still relatively special and I doubt you'll ever be able to make them through professions.
