That's a reference to a sealab 2021 where Dr. Quinn was blackmailed into giving everyone robot bodies after "having gone too far with chubby carol." In the end, while the brains of all the major crew members were in robots, Dr. Quinn put mice in the former bodies of the crew members and one of the mice says this line, "We will need lots of cheese. Mostly Parmesans and Romanos. Hard cheeses for a hard journey." It's absolutely hilarious and I would've provided a youtube link if I could've found it.
