If racials were gone then the hardcores would just min/max base stats. Nelfs have more agility than humans...by a small margin, but they do...so the hardcore arena players would probably choose nelf or gnome over human just for that reason. The only real way to eliminate racial min/maxing would be to destroy those small stat discrepancies as well. Every race would have equal base stam, strength, agil, intellect, and spirit.
Also, the percentage of players that are willing to race change simply to get the fotm racial is probably incredibly small. The rest of the wow population sees racials as fun perks...not glaring balance discrepancies. I don't think that Blizzard is going to eliminate racials for the sake of placating such a small constituency.
Myself...I don't know which I'd prefer...part of me wishes they'd just gtfo for the sake of further balancing pvp, but part of me likes the flavor that racials bring to the game. In the end I think I'd rather have them then not have them.

kinda true.
i play undead and feel at quite a disadvantage after the nerf.
but i stick to it, cos i like undead.
feeling the disadvantage isnt nice, so it'd be good if racials were gone.

Yep and as Blizz is changing racials in Cataclysm anyway I prefer to have them.

sure, a hardcore min-maxer could race change for the maybe 5 extra agility or stamina that one race might have over another.
but 5 agi or 5 stamina makes A LOT less of a difference than between Every Man for Himself or Stoneform. an extra 0.02% crit or some such nonsense might cause a match to change it's outcome, but don't kid yourself that it is somehow important.

I know several people who race-changed after the Will of the Forsaken nerf.
It makes a lot more of a difference at the maximum levels of arena play, where an extra... whatever... can change a tight game.

Yeah i chose my priest to be undead for the pvp aspect cause thats what i wanted to do with it now thats its been nerfed whats the point of being undead they arent pretty but i guess ill go Belf to keep up in arenas its really sad they broke WoTF and gave the Humans more stuff EMFH 10 rep I mean come on lets balance this stuff out or remove them I dont relish the fact that it seems as if thy are constantly "balancing" stuff but yet we get inferior stuff
FIX TAUREN UNDEAD and DWARF racials
