The background downloader has gone active tonight with a 77.5 MB partial file for the Patch 3.3.3 patching process. Don't expect the patch to go live tomorrow, of course (if nothing else, scheduled maintenance isn't long enough), but it looks like we may be within a few weeks of some nice new patch goodness, including the rise of
DK frost dual wielding,
Frozen Orbs, and the
abolishment of battleground marks.

Rise of DK Frost DW? I've been doing it as Tank/DPS since they made DW viable again several patches ago. I'll enjoy the threat gain from the Icy Touch change while tanking, but the rest seems to be just smoothing a few discrepancies between DW DKs and other melee.

Honestly though, if people weren't using DW Frost for PvE before all this patch madness, they were doin' it wrong.
Speccing DW frost has changed my gameplay experience for the better, just as I was getting burnt out too!

also IIRC MMO-Champion deal with theories and datamining that could be wrong and post it with warnings that it could be wrong, wow.com tends to wait untill there is a bit more proof but do often get their information from mmo-champion and even link to mmo-champions stuff sometimes.
This isnt copying this is 2 completely different types of WoW blogs and I dont get why either one sometimes gets messages like yours about one copying the other...

If it was going live tomorrow, they wouldn't download it with the Background Downloader. You would just download it tomorrow.

Yeah, because all wow news only comes from MMO-C. They could of never just jumped on there client and saw it or blizzard told them. Also in the article before this one someone mentions it in the comments

Well seeing as a lot of their news is posted right after MMO-C posts it, one would think that's where they get it from.

Well if you actually tried to publish, you would know it takes LONGER than 10 mins to actually publish - so enough of the stupid comments please. I know its surprising but i dont see you publishing on MMO when wow is 1st (as it occasionally is)

Thats 2 sentences and image VS wow.coms "much" more detailed with info links "frozen orbs, dk frost, BG marks" and image.
That this was posted "10 minutes after mmo" might mean that this post took 10+ minutes to make, upload, edit screenshot, find links, double check it, wait for upload to appear on site etc. So that means *drumroll* this article was on works before mmo-champions was even released making that this post was "made" before mmo-champs.

Troll thinks that articles are made by pressing ""copy mmo-champ news and add links" button" in microsoft word making short news longer magically but still clearly copy-pasted.

Why! I do believe that says 12:32 20 minutes BEFORE MMO-C did theirs. Maybe you have it backwards and need to go to that site to lambast them for copying wow.com ?

What Im personally interested in is why are there still commoners around? Lunar Festival ended on Sunday, these aren't leftover from that. They're wearing different clothing, dark colors instead of the holiday gear, but so far, do not say anything like the commoners usually do.
We may not get the patch tomorrow, but we may be getting something special!

Anyone else getting Runtime errors for the Background Downloader whenever it opens(either automatically on closing WoW or via running the program directly)? I saw a topic on the Technical Support forums, so it seems I'm not alone in not being able to get the Background Downloader to actually open or download anything.

this patch cant come quick enough, cant wait for the dw frost buffs. the only thing that worries me is the threat is already pretty high on the build im using :s
