I hope not. I don't see how they could balance the current healers with a dps to heal one and I like healing but not dpsing to heal.I do think that ghost-crawler kind of misunderstood the original poster though, and do think that healers need someone else to do besides just heal as the game scales in such a way that healing becomes less and less important.

seconded emphatically.elsewhere in the parent thread, a paladin was talking about the things they can do to regen mana, from judgments, to attacking the mob a little for JoW procs, to the fact that their mana-regen cooldown ability has to be well-timed with raid conditions in order to be safe. the result of this according to the poster - paladin mana regen is really fun compared to other classes.i'd be happy if a priest could mana-return by wanding. that'd be neat. don't know what slightly more "active" mana regen methods i'd give to other classes, but there is room there. a few more interactive, and proactive things healers could do to regain mana wouldn't be a bad idea, despite the fact a full-on dps-to-heal mechanic is a terrible idea.
