I have always thought that it would be cool if there was a class that sort of "un-damaged" people. Perhaps when some one takes some damage, this class would see some sort of spectral "mob" representing said damage and if they were able to kill said mob in a set amount of time, future damag is mitigated or a percentage of life is restored to the character.... and this would work even if said player is already dead (perhaps a cool down would allow this). It would have to be difficult enough so as not to trivialise the game. Also, said class would have abilities that would store up an amount of the damage he/she has healed in a runic-power sort of way to unleash more powerful spells.This would make a class that is very unique and provide a new way of healing that is also dps, but not in a way that would seem over-powered to other dps classes. The healer would essentially be dpsing future/past damage. I imagine it would be sort of difficult to pull off, but if some one were creative enough to do it in a balanced way, I think it would be a very unique experiance.
