I like this concept, similar to WoW Rogues and Diablo2 assassins, as you built up your combo points you can realease special abilities, whether to heal or do more damage would be your choice. There could be talent trees devoted to either healing or dps, with talents mitigating what type of "finishers" you could do... Doesn't seem too out of line with current class systems...
