The Daily Quest: Showing off your UI
Here at WoW.com we're on a Daily Quest (which we try to do every day, honest) to bring you interesting, informative and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere. Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? Just leave us a comment and you may see it here tomorrow!
Ah, the World of Warcraft user interface -- your screenshots are the vacation photo of a generation of gamers. We spend so much time tweaking and perfecting our user interface that we just have to share. And for those of us still in search of the perfect UI? Well, screenshots are better than an IKEA catalog. So what's in the offering today? A few bloggers and their UIs:

The trouble with my UI is it's always evolving. I get everything positioned exactly like I want it and then I read this column and get a better idea. Or I read about a new addon that I can't live without, which requires a total revamp of my UI.
I think of tinkering with my UI as a mini game. Often, my evening will go something like this:
Log in to WOW.
Play Auction House for a 1-2 hours.
Tinker with UI 1 hour or so.
It too late to quest so I go to bed.

That sounds so very familiar...

My UI is more functional than pretty. However, it is designed around using the Belkin N52te and being generic enough for any class. No screenshots, but I have a YouTube channel, The 2 Ring (http://www.youtube.com/user/grendalsh) with the setups and profiles for several classes. The focus is to help folks past the 'how do I set it up' hump into the 'oh! I can make it do...!' stage.
