Modk of Juggernaut has obtained the world's first Shadowmourne! It's the final legendary weapon in the
Wrath of the Lich King expansion (at least, that we know of) before
Cataclysm is due out. The quest line to earn the weapon is both costly and long. So a big congrats to Modk! I suspect we'll gradually be seeing more and more of these. Who knows how many we'll have by the time the new expansion is released?

O god, I do beleive I have an alli alt on that battlegroup speced for pvp. (tho, luckly, it being an alt, it is only pvp 30ish~)

Yeah, you pretty much have to devote an ungodly amount of time just to get even the basic version of it, and have a guild willing to let you do the quests for the 3 key power charges.
I'm still stuck on the first part of the quest, my guild leader refuses to let anyone roll on the Primordial Saronite that drops out of fear that who-ever wins it is going to sell it. Yet, just between you and me, I'm suspecting that my guild lead is selling the saronite on a bank alt, since there's barely ever more than one or two in it, and logs never show the lead putting the ore in.

Sorry, but I saw a Shadowmourne about a month ago on a ret pally in one of my Random Heroics rocking a little over 10k DPS on single target. Tank couldn't hold aggro off him for anything and I ended up having to heal the pally through every boss in Azjol-Nerub...which didn't take long since he explodiated every boss in seconds...Pain Suppression ftw. :P

It was not possible to create Shadowmourne (see http://epicadvice.com/questions/5227/has-anyone-created-shadowmourne/5228#5228) until within the last week or two, even with perfect drops. You may have seen Shadow's Edge (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=49888), a precursor to Shadowmourne, but I think it's more likely you're either trolling or Smoking The Good Shit.
