Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. That's a druid in cat form and a hunter pet, I'm guessing ... but however did she get on top of the pet like that? Shouldn't they intersect? I'm guessing a priest's levitate and /lie down.

That is NOT a Striped Frost Saber mount. Just look at the pictures in the link you posted. The fangs are wrong, the ears are wrong, and most everything is different if you look carefully. It's a completely different model.

It's not a mount, it looks nothing like the frost sabers you get to ride, it's a pet.

So now that the theory of "Mounted Travel Form" has been debunked thanks to the wowhead link that was provided, here's a better explanation.
As a Hunter, whenever I feign death or lie down, sometimes there's a delay on my screen between me jumping and the change in my character's animation. This leads to it looking like I'm using my back (and maybe buttocks) to jump up, which always amuses me.
It's possible to say the same thing happened here.
