One wonders what you do for a living where such an ability would be useful. XD Most of us don't have any pressing need to be invulnerable for ten seconds, no matter how cool it might be. I can think of a lot of situations where it could be useful, but they're not exactly everyday occurrences...

The thought process was more as follows:
Everyone experiences a close-call or two in their life. Be it traffic, mugging, slipping on the ice (no fall damage!), rabid dog, w/e. Being invulnerable in those times would be pretty awesome. ...and then skydiving without the need for a 'chute. That would be pretty awesome. (Again, no fall damage!)

Ah, but you have to see it coming. The accident where "he never knew what hit him" will take you out. Not to mention the mugger or rabid dog persistent enough to outlast the 10 second bubble... XD

He might get an NFL contract with an ability like that. It didn't have to be for your CURRENT job.

Nah, the paladin ability you want is Ardent Defender, you can "die" once every 2 minutes and live with little injuries.

Plus you don't have to see it coming.

I was going to also say ardent defender. Seems the logical choice.

But seeing as no-one will have any plate armour with Defence Rating on it on Earth, you'll heal up with very little hp.
You'll survive, but you'll probably be crippled.

The only WoW ability I'd want IRL is access to the developer commands. :D
