I agree that it does suck to see loot that you've been salivating over for a number of months finally drop only to go to someone you've just met. But if that person wasn't there, would you have seen that loot drop?
Here's what you want:
He/She put in the effort to do his/her role and succede just as much as you, but NEVER obtain anything to show for it. (emblems aside)
Here's what you'll get:
He/She will drop faster than my Aunt Mildred after a sip of Long Island. And then you'll be lucky to find anyone willing to save themselves to a raid already in progress...only to obtain no loot...
This also means that you will in turn see no loot, cause nobody will want to pug with you if they know that they'll never win any loot rolls.
