Looking forward to patch 3 cubed, There's a little bit for a lot of people here. I just hope it's not weeks before all my add-ons can catch up with the current build.

Little Stalion......:D sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

I'm actually very surprised at how small the patch was this morning, got on to put in the patch so I can jump in asap after maintenance, and it took just over 3 and a half minutes, I know it's not like a major content patch like with ICC or 3.3.X, but they're adding in a lot of new stuff that would really seem like it would take a bit longer... But my point is, if you dread those long patch downloading days, this is not one of them.
sharpshorty95 Mar 23rd 2010 7:54AM
Yeah, 152 megabytes.

My little pony
nieboh Mar 23rd 2010 7:58AM
so not necessary...
nieboh Mar 23rd 2010 8:04AM
I did the same thing. I was surprised though, usually when the patch goes live the downloading finishes with an extraction thing that gives me the ability to read the patch notes, but this didn't happen. I went straight into the game, agreed to the legal stuff and got out. No patch notes for me. I know I can read them elsewhere, but to me it just really feels like the "official" patch notes if they are part of the Blizzard downloader.

I had to click the Updated button on the bottom right, and the patch notes came right up. I know this doesn't help you now, but maybe it will help someone else. Hopefully this little problem is the only hiccup this patch has...

I really hope the Honor Rewards for emblem turn-ins listed on MMO-Champion aren't accurate. I'm just a few AB tokens short of having been able to buy a mount, (12 to be precise) and if tokens only redeem for 185 Honor, I'm not even going to be CLOSE to a mount with that.
Taking the 90 emblems required for a mount before the patch and redeeming them for honor will give you 16,650 Honor, which isn't even HALF of what you'd need for a PVP mount.
This doesn't really seem like a fair conversion.
Kanap Mar 23rd 2010 9:11AM
This makes sense as to not being fair, i was excited about the tokens till they said it was 185 honor now I hope its a bit more.
Silversol Mar 23rd 2010 9:20AM
I would say its not fair the other way. You can use your stone keepers shards for honor, do WG, get honor from anywhere.... You aren't locked into doing 3 battlegrounds endlessly for the mount.
Josin Mar 23rd 2010 9:39AM
Yeah, in the future, it'll be much easier to get the honor. But for those of us who've already done most of the legwork, it's a real kick in the teeth.
Alphadog Mar 23rd 2010 10:06AM
I remember reading that the cost of PvP items, such as mounts, will be reduced as well.
Josin Mar 23rd 2010 10:09AM
50,000 Honor per mount is the cost I've been seeing.
Dane Bramage Mar 23rd 2010 8:28AM
completely useless, actually
Oppel Mar 23rd 2010 9:13AM
I forgot today was a going to be a patch day. And I like free stuff.
Oppel Mar 23rd 2010 9:22AM
I forgot the engineering pets were no longer BOP. I want to play now.
Radiophonic Mar 23rd 2010 9:27AM
