# Caverns of Time: Players in Old Hillsbrad Foothills, The Black Morass, and The Culling of Stratholme can no longer use some costumes and disguises. You're supposed to be blending in here, not calling attention to yourselves! (This prevents some instances where such costumes permanently removed the Human Illusion or caused it to go haywire).
Well... my gf will not be happy, she plays Draenei Shaman (and used to play Night Elf Priest), the Orb of Sindorei trick was the only thing that kept her from looking human.

I too am confused. Does it matter who sees you? I mean...you're going to kill them anyway aren't you? No witnesses = no need to blend in.

"Ah yes...I remember the time I escaped from Durneholde Keep. I'll never forget the wolf, blood elf, dark iron dwarf, ogre and monkey in a giant pink ball that helped me that day. Hey...where's everyone going? I'm not crazy! Come back! I'm the warchief, damnit!"

Does this mean I cant go there and use my iron dwarf costume, take it off and be turned into male instead of female?
Not that I would want to do that but just saying.

This Horde player ain't happy either...seems like no matter what the toon, I always get stuck with the FUGLIEST combo of human female features possible. And given how tragic the average human female looks in this game, that's saying a lot. That's not even getting into the diarrheatasticness all human females are stuck with for a running animation (have I mentioned I hate how humans look, run, and act in this game?).
I mean, I can understand and accept it for my Trolls and my Orcs; the need for a disguise is obvious there. But it's infuriating for my Belf toons, considering there's a high elf priest standing RIGHT THERE at the city gates in CoS. Why the hell can't they just turn our eyes blue and call it a day? How is it less conspicuous to have Warlocks calling down hellfire, summoning demons and **Death Knights** turning people into ghouls than people who were actually part of the Alliance at that time (and quite frankly should have been playable, before Gnomes)?
I could accept the blatant use of the Gameplay and Story Segregation trope here if they didn't bother to "RP" patch notes like that. That just makes it obnoxious.

Arthas would see you. The entire point is you're secretly helping him fulfill his destiny. And remember, the first time through it was a group of his own human soldiers that assisted with the culling. If suddenly these other races started popping up, it'd cause quite a stir. Especially the Eredar Dranaei.

@kesherz - Aww, way to take it all serious! It's not fun that way.

It appears a Blizzard developer plays on my battlegroup and was in an instance with me.
(My CoS macro)
/s Arthas, I have a confession to make.
/in 10 use Orb of the Sindorei
/s I'm actually a Blood Elf, ... oh, we are High Elves that joined the Horde after you destroyed our city in our past...
/s anyway... I was sent by a group of dragons to make sure you slaughter this entire city and become the head of the Undead you are fighting. So you can kill my mom and dad.
/s So, let's get to killing all your subjects and starting you down the path to damnation.
/s make sure you keep Jaina's locket so she starts crying after you die. I hate that chick.

So Blizz can crush a quick bit of fun to be hardcore about 'fitting in' with the past, yet Stratholme still doesn't give Keepers of Time rep? Hell, we even save a Bronze dragon from being tortured and killed!
Ungrateful bastards, all of them.

As for Arthas seeing us, isn't it established in old Hillsbrad they wipe the memories of anyone of encountered us?
