At this point Blizzcon is actually starting to annoy me. I'm never going to go, and I don't have any interest in going, but I know that from now until a month after October 23rd I'm going to be reading Blizzcon this and Blizzcon that and how to prepare for Blizzcon and who's going to be at Blizzcon and what's going to happen at Blizzcon and whether you should take your cat to Blizzcon and what happened at Blizzcon and what to expect at Blizzcon and whether this year's Blizzcon was better than last year's Blizzcon and when Blizzcon is going to be held next year and how they can improve next year's Blizzcon and why you should go to Blizzcon and why you shouldn't go to Blizzcon and what you did and Blizzcon and where to go at Blizzcon and how to act at Blizzcon and whether Cataclysm will be live by Blizzcon and whether the new MMO will be announced at Blizzcon and how many people will show up to Blizzcon....
I realize I'm being whiny and that I should shut up and just ignore it, like I did last year. But ugh. I see it starting already with the Blizzcon themed Queue etc.
Also, please downvote this, because this was a crappy comment that added nothing constructive.

'k.
But seriously, what do you expect out of a WoW blog? If they aren't covering Blizzcon, one of the biggest WoW-related events, then they're not being a good WoW blog.=P
Yes, article after article about frivolous things like "What should I eat while at Blizzcon" might get a tad annoying, but...again, they're not going to be prominent. And if they are, it's most likely Blizzcon week anyway, so it's expected. *shrug*

You're right on all counts, but you're entitled to your opinion.
BiigD Mar 25th 2010 6:35PM
I up-voted you purely for the fact you said Blizzcon 22 times.
Banic Rhys Mar 25th 2010 6:49PM
That really didn't deserve to get down voted, it's his opinion and it's a valid one.

I've little to no care bout anything to do with blizzcon until it occurs... then I want to know anything wow related that's announced and such.
Personally I wish we could pick which colums to follow or something... course I'd also like to get to login properly with firefox and that you'd think would happen sooner.

"The Announcement of Blizzards Next MMORPG"
World of Starcraft...
... you heard it here first...
at least this is my prediction
Vitos Mar 25th 2010 7:54PM
No- that will never happen. It doesn't have the same ring to it. SoW? No way.
Its gonna be Space of Starcraft! SoS.
Hank Mar 25th 2010 8:19PM
Starcraft Universe.
im99sam8 Mar 26th 2010 5:30AM
I belive that this was a posiblity. One of the 5 year anniversary interveiws said that they considered Diablo and Starcraft as themes for their mmo but settled on Warcraft.

With the announcement of the Blizzcon timing, I am putting my money in the pool for Cataclysm's launch date as November 9.
Bristae Mar 25th 2010 9:26PM
November 9th? Nah! it will be sooner. They already said that 3.3 will be the last MAJOR content patch of WotLK. 3.3.5 is coming soon, I'd say within a month or two. So you are saying that they will give us nothing new from like May to November? highly unlikely. I'm thinking Cataclysm might come around Late Aug/Early Sept. But hey.. I could be wrong too... dunno... just don't think it would come THAT late in the year.

How can you not love blizzcon? It`s so fun +awesome contests will make you lol so hard.I can`t wait to watch it again.

Never been to Blizzcon, thinking about a visit to either the next one, or next years. Should be decent :D
Vernon McFadden Jun 20th 2010 3:40PM
I was wondering why Blizzcon was late this year. This just confirms a November release date. Late August or early September would work if it was held on the 27th and 28th of August, but Blizzard is being shrewd and a little obvious by placing the convention at that time.
