Since I'm an enchanter, I always greed items and deal with it after the run. Once it's over, I deal with it as follows:

Greens -- If it has the 75% to d/e into Greater Cosmic Essence, I do that since they go for 19g ea on my server. Otherwise they get sold if above 10g, d/e into Dust if less than that.

Blues -- sold. Dream Shards are absolutely worthless on my server.

Purple -- d/e into Abyss Crystals since I don't need the gear, then Abyss Shatter the crystal into (hopefully) many Greater Cosmic Essence to be sold on the AH. (crystal goes for 34g, but if shatter gives Greater Cosmic, it gives at least 3, which is just shy of 60g)

I'll occasionally throw a BoE up on the AH, but only if I've seen it on there at least five times in my scans.
