I don't know why blizzard decided we're the only one that still has to taxi around the planet to complete our quests.

Don't think of it as taxiing around the world. Think of it as going on tour, showing off your awesomeness to the small and obscure parts of the globe. (this works best if you are a Troll shaman, which is double-awesome.)

I counted once ... 23 zone transfers, four continent hops. About 1.5 hours to do the quest and that's if you know where you're going. Horde Call of Water is a war crime. But do it as a troll to be the most awesome you can be.
