@rhino327 They've already made jokes about people being "sick of goblin rogues by the next Blizzcon." Cataclysm was already their huge talking point at Blizzcon--the last one they had.
If Blizzcon is in October (it is) and Cataclysm ships in November (since you're basing that just on what they did last year), the pre-expansion event/patch would be in full swing by that point and the beta would be over and everyone would already know what's coming. Would devoting an event to teasing something that's going to be coming out in a month make sense?
What we're likely to see at the upcoming Blizzcon is info on the Warcraft movie, or their next-gen MMO. Or something completely different out of left field.
