Ummmm.... Was the Nihilum thing an april fools? It was posted on March 31 (Close, yes, but not April first). And the shots and you tube video looked very plausible and VERY well done. Also there was no obvious "Here is the joke" shot in there. (For example; there was no 'Hello ' Kitty' decorations, etc.)If it was an April fools, they win for best effort. And they certainly got me. I was still a bit skeptical, but also I put it down to being very plausible.

That's exactly what i was thinking. 99% of the April Fools jokes have a punch line or obvious joke thrown in...the Nihilum ones didn't have any. Well except for the massive 1h swords, but those still look very well made.

I didn't actually see Nihilum's pictures yesterday. Looking at them now though ... wow. You're right. If that's a joke someone is damn good. The "new buildings" have shadows and everything. ;) I too looked for something funny. Like Waldo up in a tree or a murloc with a night elf head in the background somewhere or something, and I didn't see a thing that made it an obvious joke.

Actually, it's a joke, as someone pointed out in the comments. They're just model edits that people made. You can download them if you'd like and they would show up on your game, but they are not going to be added to Cataclysm itself.

Yes, we're aware that it's a joke. We're just pointing out the great workmanship and skill that went into making the models themselves.
