I enjoyed your article. As a level 79 priest who has pvp'd since 19, I feel comfortable adding a few things:1) The frostsavage armor set has pitiful spirit. As a disc healer, I'm always oom after an intense fight. I then run in and suicide myself.2) Many of our spells apply to others as well as ourselves, so know how to 'alt-buttonpush' to ensure you're casting on yourself. F'rinstance: Penance. If you're casting it while you're being attacked, it will be an offensive spell - this is not your likely intent. alt-penance (given standard UI) casts it on you! yay. Same with dispel magic. 3) How do you kill a resto druid? Mana burn. repeat. Dispell their innervate. (I have an 80 arena tree and I hate mana burn). I thusly keep improved mana burn. I'd assume killing a resto shammy is similar, but I don't know. 4) Racials for Hordies: I used to be an undead priest, back when undead was the only class to have devouring plague. (remember that?) I recently went Belf for a few reasons1) I wanted to ride a pink chicken2) I like the silence effect that the belf racial has as disc. It is I believe our only silence. (If I did shadow pvp I might've stayed undead since they have silence).3) If I had an ally, I would go human. 5) STAY IN A CROWD. 6) Personally, when it looks bad in a crowd , I spam holy nova. It can trigger bubbles, and its instant. 7) Holy Nova unstealths rogues. Great for defending a flag8) I recently discovered the magic of 'target of target' in the UI menu. This rocks for PVP. you can see who is getting clobbered by the rogue and bubble / penance / renew them from a distance. 9) Dont forget your snares are often dispellable (sp) with dispel magic. except infected wounds. Which I don't think is a disease, though it should be. I mean . . think about it. 10) when a DK pulls me in, I psychic scream, then root their annoying pet. then I skedaddle.and lastly:11) Bind levitate to a key. .. its awesome for hanging out on the roof and floating in (wsg) . .. or jumping from LM to BS and healing in mid air. I often /s "Hi, I just flew in and boy are my arms tired". I have an ICC geared 80 resto druid that has good arena exp, but I love my priest more for pvp these days! Its fun if you don't mind dying alot.By the way, trees get targeted more than priests in my opinion, perhaps cuz they look . . . like broccoli. At least I look like a generic belf. Thanks for the great article!

6) Personally, when it looks bad in a crowd , I spam holy nova. It can trigger bubbles, and its instant. Just as a heads up, spamming holy nova in crowds is not as advantageous as you may believe. It can be very costly in terms of mana, and you have to consider that holy nova only affect you and your PARTY members. Presumably that the "crowds" you're talking about are usually found in the bigger battlegrounds consisting of 15+ raid members. In my experience (in pug groups at least) groups within raids rarely stick together. You could be there spamming holy nova only healing yourself and maybe 1 or 2 other party members, while the rest of the raid around you dies.

@ Xaklo Thank you for the advice. I'm curious, do you have any suggestions for 'damn, I'm gonna die moments, lets maximize my remaining seconds?' (on my druid its tranquility which gets everyone to pay attention to the druid!)(when I wrote this I was thinking of the wsg flagroom when they zerg us). Appreciate the fact that in AV, this would not be as helpful. TY

Well, if you talent into Desperate prayer, those moments should just change to "Damn, I ALMOST died." haha. but if that spell is on CD, there are plenty of other "Oh Shit" buttons disc priests currently have at their disposal. Consider pain supression, coupled with binding heal. Most people would go for penance or flash heal on themselves when in a pince, but why be selfish, when binding heal has the same cast time as flash heal? Those should help both maximise your healing to allies as well as keeping yourself alive. And if you're absolutely at death's door, there's always PW:S + Power Infusion + Inner Focus + Divine Hymn for super speedy, free, massive heals.
