The point is to make dispels more expensive and strategic, and less knee-jerk. They don't want people thinking debuf-dispel-debuf-dispel, they want you to see what the debuf is, and react properly. They want you to make decisions. They don't want to give you a spell that will tick over and over again to completely negate one class (DKs) and they don't want to have to give DKs a counter to the counter (Unholy Blight changes).In fact, I'm willing to bet DKs lose their disease protection once Abolish Disease and Cleansing Totem are gone. Once there are real consequences for mindlessly dispelling, like OOMing or something, strategy comes back into play.
