I'm a little confused about this change. Totems are the signature mechanic of the shaman class, they are designed to give us powerful buffs in exchange for being fixed location spells instead of auras. By removing one of the most useful and interesting totems, they are moving us towards a model of simply picking a set of buffs depending on your raid comp at the beginning of the night and never changing it. There will now be very few situational totems that must be used with thought given to the actual encounter. I don't want to always drop "improves everyone's awesomeness by 1%" every fight, I want to have to know when it is more valuable to have wide dispels or fear removal. Things like this are what make the shaman class fun and unique, please don't take them away.
