Applying abolish poison if you spotted a DK in shadowform isn't faceroll, its strategic. So is using a castsequence macro so if you're forced to use your GCDs on dispelling, you can stack abolish and cleanse. Just as shifting out of it to shackle or renew before they engaged wouldn't be. Its like saying mages will only be able to remove curses in their ice block, or DKs will only be able to use blood strike in blood stance and icy touch in frost stance. I'm going to guess it was an issue of balance where good shadow priests were doing too well against good DKs, though this will be just as annoying for PvE where its already a pain to get dps to dispel. Though I do appreciate the fact there isn't complete overlap. In Naxx I made sure my raid consisted of a resto healer as well as myself (priest) because Sarth with no decurses or Arachnid with no poison cleanses was no fun. Oh and this is going to be a massive issue for mages in 2v2. Say resto druid/warrior vs. priest/mage, its damn near impossible to sheep a druid, but you could sheep the warrior and begin CC on druid while the priest dispels the warrior. Now the druid will be impossible to poly and will be able to dispel the warrior as well.
