Few things I'm wondering about: Will Mass Dispel remain as it is? Its fairly high in mana cost already, enough that its worth me binding it to inner focus because I only use it when I really need to. Its just that sometimes "really need to" means 3 times in fairly rapid succession, such as removing bloodlust from everyone in ToC25, then removing psychic scream from everyone, then divine shield (okay, admittedly that does come later). Also, how committed are they to a "unified dispel"? If they make every dispel like "cleanse" then a druid will be unable to remove curse of weakness for fear of triggering unstable affliction, for example. If they still get decurse, I don't remember :p. Penultimately: While debuffs frequently miss in raids like BWL, they usually do so on trash. Bosses are passively 3 levels higher than you, so will have the chance of a level 88 for their debuff to apply unless its fully resisted. I usually 4-5 man BWL each week up to Chromaggus, only to have someone get mind controlled because I've gone out of mana spamming abolish disease with purified lunar dust and solace of the defeated. With another healer it becomes relatively easy again and I'm sure an amount of skill comes into it, but this balance might upset the mechanics a few raids down the line. You really don't want someone who made their character in Cataclysm to be able to PUG Storming the Citadel (relatively little to dispel) but not Felmyst or Chromaggus. Finally, defensive dispels needing hit? I really don't recall "missing" or "resisting" fusion punch or polymorph, ever.
