I feel like the mastery bonuses for the talent trees are pretty boring compared to the shaman's. All of them seem to be along the lines of Enhancement's "nature damage" (i.e. a straight buff to certain types of damage, rather than a new mechanic like the Shaman's "deep healing" or "elemental overload").Overall, sounds like cool changes for the Warlock, and it'll be fun to see the new strategy of when to burn a soul shard during the fight, but I do feel that the mastery bonuses would benefit from a little more imagination (I realize it's hard). Something along the lines of a chance to place a minor curse or debuff on the target, or a chance for DoT ticks to send the target into spasms of agony, resulting in it taking additional damage or dealing less damage for 2 seconds. Something of that sort, difficult to balance as it would likely be.

The way I understand it, mastery bonuses aren't supposed to be too flashy; mastery bonuses are being implemented so that the things talent points are spent on can be flashier.
