Is there a problem with using Death Knights?
I understand it might take a little time to get out of the starting area, but once you do you can easily get to any of the neutral AHs.

Just takes to long imo. Getting a toon out of the DK starting zone takes at least an hour, longer I think. I corpse-ran multiple characters from Stormwind to Booty Bay, it doesn't take that long. Especially if you go the Westfall-sea-BB route it just takes a while, you can go afk make a sandwich or whatever while the character swims the way. Just be careful not to get him too close to ie. the murlocs in the Sunken Reef in STV.
And against a Lvl 80 of the opposite faction it's pretty much as helpless as a Lvl 1 so no advantage there either imo.

The other reason is that, unless you have some sort of PvE or PvP goal for an alt, DKs are the best choice for an alt to provide another two profession slots, due to their higher starting level.
