I think Vengeance is a really smart way to handle tank scaling with DPS. You keep adding stamina with your gear, and your AP rises (hopefully) in line with the increases the DPS classes are seeing as well. Let's hope it works out.

i'm actually kinda worried about vengeance...where a warrior tank, and bear to a lesser extent, is really weak dps-wise, is when they aren't getting hit, and aren't generating the rage they need in order to put out their attacks. now, the rage normalisation will probably go a decent way toward that, and i suppose if all tanks have their dps balanced around vengeance, it might work out, but let's just say i'm not convinced that it'll fix the worst part of the problem.now, what i'd love to see for warriors is a talent or ability called "forget me not" which would allow shield slam to stack a damage buff, which gets cleared when you are attacked. it'd give prot decent damage when they aren't being damage, or if they get ignored in pvp, but it wouldn't do anything for all those times when you are getting hit a lot in the face. it'd also be easy enough to clear the buff in pvp as long as you remember to do so. anyhow, i think it'd be a neat mechanic.
