"Victory begins in Tinker Town" and "every man, woman and child" is called upon to serve! The staging ground for the offensive will be at SteelGrill's Depot under the command of Captain Sparknozzle. There you will undergo Drill Sergeant Steamcrank's training. You will also be testing the Mechano-Tanks before they go to the front line. Then you will bomb the irradiation vents under the command of Pilot Muzzlesprock.
All levels will be able to participate, whether by donating boar skins for siege pilot seats or helping to write the battle cry. But the actual offensive, when ready, will be limited to levels 75 and up, led by the High Tinker himself. For full details, read the Azeroth Bulletin.

If 12.7% is a date that Blizzard are hinting at (I don't believe it is, as Blizzard is an American company, meaning that would imply 7th of the 12th, which is way too late in the year, considering they're giving out beta keys to the press) they would be hinting at a date they're releasing Cataclysm, as Deathwing bursting into Azeroth and completely ravaging it is "any cataclysmic event", not the retaking of Gnomeregan ;) (jokes aside ofc :P)
Either that or it'd be a date they're releasing the patch (like 3.0.1 came out before WotLK) which is when Deathwing would actually cause the cataclysm, rather than the expansion itself.
Then again, 12.7% is a random number, I wouldn't go all speculation on it :P (to respond to coolbam13, it has as much chance as 12.8% and 12.9% and 12.6% and 12.5% and 12.4% etc. Unless you're saying there's something special about that number? O.o)

Are you serious? Of course it's worth it. We will only be doing this once. I'm sure everything they have lower levels do will grant xp so it's not like they will be missing out on that.
I reAlize everyone plays this game for their own reasons but this will be one of those things no one should miss out on. It's one of the rare things we can do that leaves a persistant impact on the game world.

I meant it only as a harmless question.=P I wonder if it's worth doing again on a low level alt, is what I meant.
I have two Alliance 80s that'll do this, but I also have some Alliance alts that are too low a level to "retake" the city.

I'm really hoping that deathwing bursts out of the ground right under gnomeregan, killing 99% of the gnomes in azeroth. Then all of the other races will be thanking deathwing instead of fighting him.
