The "problem" with RNG is that, although an event may be seeded to occur 1% of the time, in actuality you might get it on your second try or you might try thousands of times and never get it.

I"m pretty sure it's random-number-generator, could be wrong. But it basically means that massive randomness due to ______ having a .01% chance to drop, which means that you could get it the first time, or not even on the one hundred thousandth time you've tried. If you've ever played a game where your stat growths were random on level up, like fire emblem, when you get nothing's when you're RNG screwed.

You know, the one you pray too right before you roll on that sweet loot in an attempt to appease them? The one you know that shoved you into nothing but Occulus before they added the loot bag? The one that deems you shouldn't get the Mr. Pinchy pet when you try to use your wishes?
