Although it's true that we're one of the unique classes that can deal a good chunk of our max damage even though we're moving (Shotspams still prove a nice spike damage), I still think it's unfair when we are the only ones who HAVE to stay out on Marrowgar and Festergut/Rotface (I forgot which one had the ooze and the angry poo-poo). I'm sure there are other encounters, but while all other RANGED classes can cast stuff like FIREBALL (Burnt hands, much?), FROST NOVA (Cold feet?), Chain Lightning (Bad Hairday in a click of a button) and other spells in zero-range, we can't use our guns as a Coup de grâce, and bows and crossbows as a pile bunker? I don't really see why we suffer so much from range.And I don't know about you, but on bosses with HUGE hit boxes, I always back out too much to avoid the damn dead zone that I'm out of range for healers. Perhaps that's just me and my baddiness, but is that really necessary for this one class?
