Just a thought regarding understanding the mindframe of the Forsaken. I'm of the opinion that they have been inextricably changed, psychologically as well as the obviously physical components, by their transformation. Consider: (These are some assumptions here, feel free to call me on them)- The undead around the world seem to have an instinctual desire to kill the living. I'm assuming this transcends the control of the Liche King.- The Scourge still gain strength from savagely consuming living flesh (Cannibalism). This to me implies that the above undead urge to kill the living continues. - I get the impression that their memory of their life feels like a distant memory, though these events did not happen all that long ago. I don't think they FEEL human anymore. I think they regained their free will, but not their humanity. I think this hatred of the living may come from from the fact that they are now free willed undead that still have a desire to kill, except now they have free will, and a painful memory of a previous life that only makes them angrier. Just my thoughts.
