Wow, where were you people when Blizz asked about making Tree form a cooldown LAST YEAR? I never heard any such whining about it then. All I heard was that people would be so glad to finally see their armor. If you had wanted it not to happen, you should've shouted out so loudly BACK THEN. You missed your chance, end of story.
Also, really, your gonna quit playing your Druids because you liked Tree of Dead Broccoli form? I didn't think so many other Druids actually liked that wreck. I mean seriously, after all the hard work Druids put into getting our gear, you guys CAN'T possibly tell me that you wouldn't like to be able to see your gear when actually going out and doing things with it.
Bottom line is, our heals are going to be strengthened out of tree form to match other classes normally. We'll now have an additional healing boost when we use our tree form cooldown. Bonus: We have access to all of our abilities while healing now.
PS: If you didn't want to see a Tauren, or a night elf, you shouldn't have rolled the race, even if you liked the class.

Also, I thought a lot about it, an idea that no-one would complain about. Give players a settings option, that when enabled, shows all Druid that are in form, as caster form, but it would only work client side. That way balance would still be in play in PVP, or for any of you who like the forms rather than seeing your hard earned gear, all you have to do is not enable the caster form option.

point 1) The armour is, in the opinion of some, shit. for lack of more eloquent language, some people simply don't like the new druid armour sets, myself included. I'm not a huge fan of the way my armour looks. I'm not saying that Blizzard actively didn't try to design it well, but i think at the back of peoples minds will always be 'most of them will never show it off anyway...'
point 2) so why, if it will make NO DIFFERENCE to our healing ability, should we not be allowed to make ourselves look and feel like druids. Tbh, i'm not bothered about what every other healer needs to be equal to the rest. we're druids, we're unique BECAUSE we change forms. If anything, the fact it is only a flavour difference is LESS of a reason to remove it.
point 3) You're hippocritical. you act as if everyone is actually on YOUR side. Yes, the issue is split, but if people choose to make their side of the argument clear they have the right to, regardless of whether it disagrees with your world view.
point 4) Restoration will no longer have the druid-wide ability of polymorph immunity and CC breaking, which i see as a weakening of the class. If im healing i dont want to jump in and out of cat form every minute to break a polymorph, because while im in cat form, i cant heal.

What if is not about that? I really like the night elf/Tauren look, but what if I choose druid (over say a shaman healer) because I liked the forms?
Say a shaman Tauren has its flavor in the totems, and the druid one on its forms, and yes, my favorite classes are shaman an druid, maybe because the added visual flavor of them.
