After reading this, I think the whole ToL issue makes a lot more sense than the pretty sparse details we got with the druid revamp post. I'm glad GC took the time to have a sit down and explain things to settle the nerdrage.
I did *really* like the idea of offering druids a minor glyph to allow us to appear to be in tree form even when we're in caster form, if we're going to be forced out of our usual form. The argument seems to be revolving around the idea of the "flavour", so that would be a nice way to balance things out without sacrificing what they're trying to do with the spec. Plus, if we're getting a new tree model I want to look at it all the time!

Actually, from what I've read, the glyph is for the old form, not the new one. If you do glyph it, the skill of turning into the "super-tree" is then called "bloom", instead of "tree of life". Likely, you will become the new sprite for the duration of the skill, then revert back to the old tree form.

That wouldn't make much sense, what with having to leave the old art files around, but I guess old tree would be better than no tree.
