And if I heard right, you have to buy 3 discs to play all three solo campaigns. Or is this not true?

Yessir, but all three solo campaigns are 30+ levels each, compared to the 10 levels each campaign had in SC1. So you get a little less diversity, but the same amount of content. Think of the Zerg and Protoss discs as Brood War sized expansions. And you only need one if multiplayer is all you're after.I'd rather have them all in the same package, but it's a heck of a lot better than some of Activision's pricing schemes.

Blizz wanted to concentrate on getting the story they wanted down properly. So in fact you are actually getting more content overall, but the same in comparison to if it was all 3 campaigns in one. Personally I approve.
