Around Azeroth: A sense of community
Nothing brings a large group of people together like the exclusion of another person. It might look like the pet panda owned by Venai of Burning Legion-EU is being shunned, but he's actually surrounded by admiring fans. As Venai writes, "I took this screenshot just outside of Trial of the Crusader a few days after the panda pet was released. People gathered around this cute panda, clapped, cheered and pet it. 'ToC? Anub'arak? Epax? Naaahhh, let's watch this cute panda doing karate chops.'"
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as emailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing; use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

Ways to create lag and why:
1) create a female dwarf and raise her to level 18 during Noblegarden, then plant her in the middle of Dalaran, go afk and hop on your main to go raid Ironforge while everyone else is porting to Dalaran
2) dance naked on top of the fountain in Stormwind (female Draenei or Night Elf only, please)...as for why? Why not?
3) pull out annoyingly cute non-combat pet that has just been released and that few have seen before...and then run around and pickpocket everyone

The mercenaries had laughed when I eventually told them who the target was - one small panda - but I was paying them ten times the normal going rate so they were more than happy to take the job, despite how many of them I had hired.
There were laughs and quips at how the odds were far from fair when they eventually surrounded him, they didn't realise how right they really were. The fight lasted barely 10 seconds, and that included the time it took for the panda to replace his hat afterwards. Luckily I didn't offer to pay for the repair bills too, next time I think I'll try mammoths...

One thing I really miss about an old MMO I used to play was a sense of community. WoW doesn't have the interaction between the players that a lot of older games had. Then again, most players would step over their dead mother's corpse to pick up a coin, so I guess what can I expect?

Honestly it looks to me like a scene from any one of a few thousand kung-fu movies, where the hero is surrounded by the villain's flunkies.... and right before a big fight scene where the hero kicks all their A__ess.....
