Thank you so,so much for this article.
My four year boy was diagnosed about a year ago with Autism Syndrome Disorder. Since then he's been able to get professional intervention and has shown incredible development in his day to day communication, fine motor skills, and emotional control. Parenting a child with autism, even high functioning like my boy, is stressful but also very, very rewarding as they accomplish things that come naturally to most kids.
As an avid WoWer, I found Tsiva's stories about playing with her boy inspiring. Social interaction and fine motor skills are real struggles for my son also, and it is wonderful read ways of incorporating WoW into his development. Now I look forward to showing him the wonders of Azeroth!
